I don't know about you, but I am really,
really ready for spring. I am currently living in Virginia, so I can already sense the judgement all of you people experiencing a real winter--but I'm from Florida! I am from the land where full outerwear happens when it gets below 65 degrees, and where flip flops are worn more than any other clothing item. We have pool parties for Thanksgiving, and I got engaged on a beach on Christmas Eve. Even though I have a true love for all things outerwear, I am ready to shed a few layers and experience sunlight again! That being said, one can't simply go from a pea coat to some glorious high-waisted shorts--baby steps are a necessary evil. So, since it is March 1st and spring is only 20 days away, I have decided to add a few transitional outfits for the spring. Transitional outfits will give you a little time to get a little less Casper, and will also give you a little warmth until you're ready to completely come out of hibernation. These outfits will give you a little taste of sunshine, but not leave you freezing your buns off. Little pieces of spring are below in color, texture, and fabric choice and are mixed with some elements of warm, such as trench coats, boots, and scarves. Enjoy, and happy March!
